FIVE NEW FREE SUMMER CROCHET AND KNIT PATTERNS
Summer is officially here and that means hot weather, being out in the sun and easy cool nights. I have gathered five of my favorite new crochet and knit patterns, Baby knitting patterns for time in the sun and lazy summer evenings. One of these new babies just may turn out to be a new favorite in your collection of crochet and knit goodies.
1. Summer Festival Crochet Top. I like the look of this top with an extended bottom and looser fit. The lace panel on top and the way it narrows a bit at the neck creates a slimming effect.
2. Afternoon Tide Crochet Throw. The design on this throw is very simple, but has a complicated look to it. “Throw” (couldn’t help myself) in the repeating color scheme and you have a very delightful summer throw.
TIP: We have a little experience with what particular tools or yarns work best. Allow our knowledge to make a few suggestions to help you with your masterpiece!
3. Summit Knit Shawl. Me do likey this shawl. It has such a fun air about it with the waves and dips and the open spaces in between. What better way to show off a little attitude and style at the same time.
4. Sundae Summer Knit Shawl. I know we just had a shawl pattern, but this one is so light and airy, “I just get the sensation of a cool breeze billowing through my hair and across my long, white dress flowing over my body…” This was actually the theme to a 1979 York Peppermint Paddy TV commercial.
